A LITTLE GUIDANCE. A LOT LESS ADMIN.

Help for your next job.

A practical guide from your first quote to a completed work order.

No QuoteToWork commission.

QuoteToWork will never take a percentage of your client payments. Your client payments go to your business, minus any payment-provider fees. Your QuoteToWork membership and optional directory listing are separate subscription charges.

What does Stripe charge?

Stripe’s published U.S. standard rate for domestic online card payments is 2.9% + $0.30 per successful transaction. At that rate, a $100 payment leaves $96.80 after processing, with $0 taken by QuoteToWork. This is an illustration, not a guaranteed payout: rates vary by country, payment method, and account pricing; other fees may apply.

Create your business page

Open Business page to add your business name, public contact person, description, services, area, contact details, and policies. Save a draft, preview it, then publish when ready. Draft edits do not change the published page until you publish again. Quote requests arrive in your private page inbox and notification bell. During private platform review, outside visitors and Stripe cannot access the page link.

Get your workspace ready

Add your business name and contact details, choose your business type, and price the services you offer. Starter library prices are intentionally unset: use your own rates.

Create and share a quote

Add a customer, itemized services, a detailed scope, exclusions, and an expiration date. You can download a PDF or copy the customer link. Email delivery needs a configured sending service. During this private review, customer links require the Site owner’s access.

Keep additional work approved

After customer approval, the original scope is locked. Request an additional charge from the quote’s Changes tab. The customer can review and approve or decline it before that work starts.

Schedule and finish a job

Open an approved quote’s Work order tab to set an appointment, location, time zone, and shared visit instructions. Use Schedule to see upcoming jobs. Complete both handoff checks before marking the work complete; closing an unpaid job requires a reason.

Understand payment records

Completing a job does not mark it paid. Record an external payment only after you confirm receipt, or use Stripe when platform payment processing is activated. Final invoices become available after completion. Paid receipts require full confirmed payment.

Keep private notes private

Customer directory notes and internal completion notes stay out of customer-facing quote details. Appointment visit instructions are shared. Updating a customer profile never rewrites saved quotes.

Manage your plan

Current options are $11.99 for one complete job, $39.99 per month, or $399.90 per year, in USD. Checkout shows the price and renewal terms before purchase. Sandbox checkout uses test cards and does not charge real money. A saved preference alone does not create a purchase. Use Plans & billing to manage an existing subscription or stop its next renewal.
